The goal of hepatic detoxification is to transform chemicals that
are fat-soluble into water-soluble compounds. Water soluable compounds
can then be eliminated in urine, sweat, or bile. The steps involved
to carry out this process have been nanmed Phase I and Phase II detoxification
In Phase I, the reaction involved is hydroxylation.
In Phase II, the hydroxylated or other compounds produced in Phase I
are converted to various polar metabolites by conjugation with glucuronlic
acid, sulfate, acetate, glutathione, or by methylation. Metacrin-DV provides
a rich mix of key vitamin substrates and amno acids required for Phase
l and II detoxification, as well as validated herbs that support healthy
detoxification reactions, hepatic cell growth, and RNA synthesis.
Other support formulas are: Bilemin” (K-Il) to assist bile synthesis,
Methyl-SP’ (K-14) to aid with methylation
process at phase II detoxification, and Thvro-CNV to support glutathione
